The 27th Official Great Aussie Pie Competition will be held in conjunction with Fine Food Australia in Melbourne from 12 - 15 September, 2016.

The Official Great Aussie Pie Competition
We allow 3 entries in the plain pie competition from each establishment. This enables those pie manufacturers who make different kinds of plain pies to enter two examples of their work. We will accept both a plain mince pie, chunky pie and a mince chunky combination pie entry. As with the plain mince pie they must contain either beef, veal or lamb and no vegetables are allowed with the exception of onion. Note: You will need to pay the additional entry fee and courier fee for the extra entry.

 

The Official Great Aussie Gourmet Pie Competition
The Gourmet Pie Competition will run alongside the Official Great Aussie Pie Competition, and is divided into 8 sections: (1) Game, (2) Poultry, (3) Vegetarian, (4) Red Meat (Beef, Veal, Lamb, Buffalo, etc), (5) Seafood, (6) Apple, (7) Gluten Free and (8) Brekkie Pie.

 

 Unlimited entries are allowed in each category of the Gourmet Pie Competition: i.e. You may enter as many times in the Poultry Section, as you wish, as long as you pay the required entry and courier fees for each entry.

 

The Official Great Aussie Sausage Roll Competition
The Official Sausage Roll Competition will run alongside the Official Great Aussie Pie Competition, and has 2 sections: Plain & Gourmet Sausage Roll.
