Mike received the honor of being inducted into the OGAPC Hall of Fame as Chief Judge for his 23 years of dedication to the competition and extensive knowledge in the art of pie-making.

Mick DeSalvatore - Senior Plain Pie Judge - The Official Great Aussie Pie Competition

Mick received the honor of being inducted into the OGAPC Hall of Fame as Senior Plain Pie Judge for eight years of consecutive entry, winning more than 180 gold medals, 35 category wins, and seven major overall wins.

Michele Walsh - Senior Sausage Roll Judge - The Official Great Aussie Pie Competition

Michele has participated in the Official Great Aussie Pie Competition Judging for more than 20 years and has been inducted into the Hall of Fame as a Senior Sausage Roll Judge. She has extensive industry experience recommends that all entrants make sure to bake your pastry thoroughly and ensure attention to detail.

Brendan Carter - Gourmet Catagory Chief Judge - The Official Great Aussie Pie Competition

Brendan has been a judge for more than 22 consecutive years, he specialises in the gourmet categories which he has been Chief Judge for 15 years. In this time it is estimated that he has tasted over 3000 individual pies which is a massive undertaking!

Jason Riley - OGAPC Hall of Fame

Jason is a Qualified Baker /Pastry Chef with 34 years experience in the industry and over 10 years of judging at the Official Great Aussie Pie Competition. He has also judged a broad selection of other national baking competitions including (but not limited to) The Great Australian Vanilla Slice Trump, various Royal Agricultural Show’s and Bake Skills for the past 24 years.

Andy Le from Four Season Patisserie in WA has won countless gold medals across all categories since 2013. In 2024, he won the Heinz Plate along with the pork and apple gourmet pie categories.
