The Aussie Pie Council presents the 37th Official Great Aussie Pie Competition (OGAPC) to be held at Fine Food Australia in Melbourne on Monday 31st Aug to Thursday 3rd Sept 2026. More information about the event will be available closer to the competition opening for registration.

How to register your entry

Registration for the Official Great Aussie Pie Competition is open from 15th July to 16th August 2026.

  1. Entrants sending their entry via Courier will receive an email from TNT (the official competition courier) one week prior to the competition date containing consignment notes, packing instructions, and the date your entry will be picked up.
  2. Entries being hand delivered will need to be packaged appropriately and delivered to stand #N47 MCEC Melbourne between 8.00 am and 9.30 am on Monday 31st Aug 2026.
Conditions of entry Judging Criteria

Regular correspondence about the competition will be sent via email. During the judging period, daily results will be posted on our website and social media channels (Facebook and Instagram). The major winners will be announced on Thursday 3rd September at 2 pm on the Competitions Stand; this will also be a live Facebook announcement.
